Does anyone else get passionately angry (ok maybe you don’t get “passionately” angry) when girls wear Ugg's with skirts or shorts? At some point some stupid girl, somewhere, decided it was ok to wear these like this. It is definitely NOT ok and ladies... this is NOT cute. You look ridiculous. Long story short, DO NOT WEAR UGGS WITH SKIRTS, SHORTS, OR ON TOP OF SWEATPANTS IN PUBLIC. Thanks.
I won’t even get into all the other terrible things that are wrong with this outfit, like the fact that her slip is hanging out from under her way-to-short skirt, or the fact that her shirt is transparent and you can see her bra. But seriously, would you feel classy walking out of the house looking like this? Find a mirror, they are not hard to come by, and if you don’t see a problem, you might have a problem.

ReplyDeleteThis is a really bad outfit. I hate the whole uggs with shorts/skirts too. Espcially when they do it in the summer...what are they thinking?
One thing I have to mention about slips is the fact that some people don't use them. I've seen girls who wear the really light summer dresses without slips and girl...they might as well be walking around naked.
You have to do a post about leggings some time too. The other day I saw a girl with tight black leggings, and white undergarments. You can just imagine.
I really enjoy these types of fashion posts. You know you can take this over to youtube and actually make quite a lot of money (and score free makeup and clothes) if you're successful. You look like the type of person people would subscribe to.

In general, I am anti-uggs. Like, if you want to wear boots that are warm, at leaaaaast wear cute ones!
Plus, they aren't practical- they aren't waterproof..
And yeah, slips... People don't even know what they are these days.

I think its funny how much a response Uggs, especially Uggs with skirts/shorts can get. I do have to agree that those shoes have very limited cute ability. I work at Abercrombie so I see an unlimited amount of Uggs, and they can be okay sometimes.
ReplyDeleteIn response to the outfit, I wouldn't go as far as saying its absolutely awful. I think its more the product of someone not thinking then they got dressed. A truly bad outfit for me means that the person put a lot of effort into it, but they just have tastes that don't agree with me.
I hate it when girls like to pretend like they have so much style when half of the girls I see every day have freaking uggs and shorts and a t-shirt. Even being a guy who doesn't care about fashion that much, it still make my wonder what is going on in their heads when they dress in the morning!
ReplyDeleteOh my god. Her outfit is horrible. This reminds me of middle school girls who wear short skirts and uggs, begging for attention. Even if she wasn't wearing shorts, the skirt is not cute at all.
